Proposed Reception
I am currently working with a great team on a project at Springs Leisure Centre in Sheffield. I was tasked with designing an extension to the existing centre, consisting of a training/meeting room, a lounge area and a disabled wc. The project is currently in the construction phase.
Although not part of the original plans, we decided whilst the work was taking place and with the existing reception area closed, it would be an ideal opportunity to refurbish the reception entrance. Working to a tight budget I designed a new reception desk with security screen to replace the existing one and in doing so redesigned the area behind the desk to create more working space, better storage and an altogether more enjoyable place to work. The proposals were met with great enthusiasm by the client and we hope to get the work started very soon.
Just confirmed, the work is to go ahead sometime in the next four weeks. Great news!
